Peterkins sponsor Olympic hopeful
Peterkins are pleased to announce the sponsorship of young Olympic hopeful Ben Kilner from Banchory. Ben, 18, received his Olympic Gold Passport from the British Olympic Association in July 2006 and was the first Scottish Snowboarder to be recognised as a prospective Olympian for the 2010 Winter Games. According to the BBC website he is 'the great white hope' for Britain in the forthcoming Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Ben, who is currently in New Zealand training, is already a champion snowboarder. He has won gold at the British Snowboard and Freestyle Ski Championships and also won the British Youth Half Pipe Championships - despite his wrist being broken at the time. |
