Peterkins Raised Over £10,000 for Local Charities

Published on

We are delighted to announce that following our Charity Wills Month which took place earlier this year we have managed to raise a combined £10,429 for our 2 selected local charities.

On Tuesday the lovely Jenna popped past our office to accept the cheque from Karen Simpson and Robert Marshall on behalf of Charlie House HQ. It was great to hear that they have now raised half of the £8 million target for their Big Build Appeal – more information can be found here https://bigbuild.charliehouse.org.uk/

On Wednesday John Barrowman went to visit Mrs Murray’s Home for Stray Dogs and Cats and present them with a cheque for the donation which was accepted by Jack and Ojo. It was also great to see the progress they are making with their own ‘big build’ – lots of pictures on their Facebook page of the build, along with some furry and fluffy friends!

We were delighted to hear how the amounts raised will help to continue the great work these two charities do in the North East.

Huge thanks must go to those who took the opportunity to have their wills written by us and also donate to these excellent local charities at the same time. Over the 6 years we have now run this campaign focused on helping local charities we have managed to raise a whopping £50,448 split between the 2 charities. Thanks to everyone that has supported it over the years.
